A growing trend during the spring, off-the-shoulder tops and dresses have solidified its status as a closet staple this summer. You can find this style in almost any color or fabric and in high-end as well as fast fashion stores. Below we have styled a few off-the-shoulder pieces for summer.
I've been noticing the influx of #OreoThins #TeamingUpWithOREO Instagrams filling up my feed and thought it was an interesting demonstration of how companies are now investing in blogger-power to commercialize and advertise their products rather than the traditional TV/magazine/billboard ads that used to be the main venue to get these types of products out to the masses. (Mondelez International Inc.'s chief marketing officer Dana Anderson talks more about this shift here.) I didn't even know Oreo Thins existed before today, and now I feel an extreme urge to go out and buy some just to take pretty pictures of them (and also nom on them too, of course).
So it seems like what they're doing is working. At least on me.
Are you sold on them yet? If not, no worries there's probably a whole 'nother slew of these pictures coming to Instagram soon to finish the job. The only thing I'm worried about with these new thin Oreos is: it still possible to separate the two cookies to lick off the filling? #bestwaytoeatOreos

Second time writing this post! I accidentally deleted everything the first time around...
Anywho.
One of my flatmates was asking me for advice earlier about which leggings are actually not see-through since she has to double up on her current ones in order for them to be completely opaque. As the CEO of Lululemon learned too late, in order to really test whether a pair of leggings are truly not see-through, one has to physically put them on and bend over to check whether their underwear shows through the material.
I know that leggings have been scorned in the fashion world in the past, but honestly I can't be bothered by that. They are often the easiest and most comfortable things to throw on under a chunky sweater or tunic-length shirt. And it seems that they may be making a comeback of sorts.
I thought it'd be useful to go through our own closets and test out some of the leggings we own and document which ones actually pass the see-through test and which ones don't. Here goes!
Usually my love for red will fade a bit after the holidays are over. But this year, I've embraced the passionate hue. As I was browsing through some street style shots from Paris Fashion Week, I was glad to see that I wasn't the only one!
I was going through the shows from the Fall 2015 New York Fashion Week recently and noticed some reoccurring color schemes happening on the runway. The majority of the following looks are from the Fall 2015 NYFW collections, but a scattered few are from the Spring 2015 collections and Fall 2015 LFW shows. Which colors are you most excited to sport this year?
Burgundy
Navy
Grey
Scarlet
Cream/Beige
But overwhelmingly, black is still the new black. It's a basic necessity in one's wardrobe and never goes out of style.

"Many of my movies have strong female leads -- brave, self-sufficient girls that don't think twice about fighting for what they believe in with all their heart. They'll need a friend, or a supporter, but never a saviour."
-- Hayao Miyazaki
With the Oscars coming up this weekend, I thought it would be nice to pay tribute to the actresses that are nominated in the Best Actress category this year. I'm sorry to say that I have only actually watched one (Gone Girl) out of the five movies featured here. I'm hoping to eventually see the others, but with it being the middle of the semester at the moment, I just don't have the time right now.
All the female characters that are portrayed by these amazing actresses have sort of a signature look in their respective films, so I thought it would be nice to put together some boards inspired by those looks.
