Winter White: 1 Sweater, 3 Ways

9:20 PM

Going into the same closet every morning can make your clothing seem one-dimensional, but they don’t have to be. Any article of clothing can be recycled and reinvented when styled differently. Even runway styles are constantly being recycled, like the appliqué flowers present in Blumarine’s Spring 2012 show and later in Alberta Ferretti’s Spring 2014 show.

It is always best to keep a creative outlook when putting your outfits together, but just in case you’re lacking the inspiration, here are three completely different looks using the same sweater:

The first look is for a more casual occasion. Here, the sweater is paired with a chevron necklace, a simple pair of skinny jeans, and riding boots.

This second look is perfect for when you’re in a girly mood. For this outfit we tucked the sweater into a woven skirt, to showoff a woman’s waistline, and added diamond-patterned tights to incorporate contrasting textures for a chicer look all together.

For the final look, we decided to go simple. In this outfit we paired the sweater with classic black tights and black booties, but kept it interesting with a statement necklace.

Look 2: Sweater-H&M (Similar), Skirt, Patterned Tights (Similar), Booties-Shanghai
Look 3: Sweater-H&M (Similar), Opaque Tights-DKNY, Booties-Shanghai (Similar, Similar), Necklace (Similar, Similar)
